Jakarta – Unit Reskrim Polsek Grogol Petamburan bergerak cepat meringkus seorang pria berinisial BAS (27) pelaku percobaan pencurian dengan kekerasan (curas) terhadap seorang lansia. Aksi nekat yang sempat terekam kamera CCTV dan viral di media sosial itu terjadi pada Senin (2/3/2026) siang di Komplek Pakuwon, Jelambar Baru, Jakarta Barat.
Korban diketahui merupakan seorang nenek berinisial LSJ yang sudah menginjak usia 80 tahun. Beruntung, nyawa korban selamat meski harus dilarikan ke rumah sakit akibat luka yang dideritanya.
Peristiwa bermula sekitar pukul 13.10 WIB. Berdasarkan rekaman CCTV, korban saat itu tengah berjalan kaki sendirian di area komplek. Tiba-tiba, pelaku yang mengendarai sepeda motor mendekati korban dan secara spontan berusaha merampas tas yang dibawa LSJ.
“Pelaku berupaya menarik tas korban, namun tidak berhasil. Akibat tarikan tersebut, korban terjatuh hingga kepalanya terbentur ke aspal jalan,” ujar Kabid Humas Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Budi Hermanto, dalam keterangannya.
Melihat korbannya terjatuh dan tak berdaya, pelaku langsung memacu motornya melarikan diri dari lokasi kejadian tanpa sempat membawa barang berharga milik korban.
Kombes Budi menjelaskan, polisi segera bergerak setelah menerima informasi dari warga dan laporan tim kring serse yang sedang bertugas. Polisi melakukan olah TKP, mengumpulkan keterangan saksi, dan membedah rekaman CCTV untuk mengidentifikasi ciri-ciri pelaku. Hanya berselang sekitar 20 menit dari waktu kejadian, polisi kemudian mengamankan seorang pria mencurigakan yang masih mondar-mandir di sekitar lokasi.
“Anggota mendatangi TKP dan memastikan korban sudah dibawa ke rumah sakit. Saat memantau situasi, tim mencurigai seorang pria yang masih berada di sekitar lokasi. Setelah diamankan dan dikonfrontir dengan rekaman CCTV, pelaku akhirnya mengakui perbuatannya,” jelas Budi.
Saat ini, BAS telah dibawa ke Mapolsek Grogol Petamburan untuk menjalani pemeriksaan intensif. Polisi juga mengamankan sejumlah barang bukti, termasuk sepeda motor yang digunakan pelaku saat beraksi.
Atas perbuatannya, pelaku terancam dijerat dengan pasal terkait pencurian dengan kekerasan yang mengakibatkan korban luka-luka. Sementara itu, kondisi korban saat ini masih dalam penanganan medis dan pengawasan pihak keluarga.
