Tangerang – Polres Metro Tangerang Kota bergerak cepat dalam merespons bencana banjir yang melanda sejumlah wilayah di Kota Tangerang. Pada Senin, 26/01/2026, jajaran Polres Metro Tangerang Kota menurunkan personel sekaligus menyiagakan perahu karet Polri untuk membantu evakuasi dan pengecekan warga terdampak banjir di wilayah hukum Polsek Jatiuwung.
Kegiatan tanggap darurat tersebut dipimpin langsung oleh PS. Kasat Samapta Polres Metro Tangerang Kota, Kompol Ubaidillah, S.H., M.A., selaku Kasatgas Tanggap Bencana. Sejak pukul 10.30 WIB, petugas diterjunkan ke Perumahan Mutiara Pluit, Kecamatan Periuk, Kota Tangerang, guna membantu masyarakat yang terdampak genangan air.
Selain menyiagakan perahu karet sebagai sarana evakuasi, personel Polri juga melakukan pengecekan rumah-rumah warga, memastikan kondisi pengungsi, serta membantu masyarakat yang membutuhkan pertolongan akibat banjir.
Kapolres Metro Tangerang Kota Kombes Pol. Dr. Raden Muhammad Jauhari, S.H., S.I.K., M.Si. menegaskan bahwa Polri akan selalu hadir di tengah masyarakat, khususnya pada saat terjadi bencana.
“Keselamatan masyarakat adalah prioritas utama kami. Polri hadir untuk memastikan warga yang terdampak banjir mendapatkan bantuan dengan cepat, baik evakuasi maupun pengamanan lingkungan,” ujar Kombes Pol. Jauhari.
Kapolres juga menambahkan bahwa kesiapsiagaan personel dan sarana prasarana terus ditingkatkan untuk mengantisipasi kemungkinan banjir susulan.
“Kami terus memantau perkembangan situasi di lapangan dan menyiagakan personel serta peralatan yang dibutuhkan. Polres Metro Tangerang Kota siap bersinergi dengan seluruh pihak demi menjaga keselamatan dan kenyamanan masyarakat,” tambahnya.
